Skillship Foundation is an organisation built on the basis of equality. We believe in equality in all aspects. From viewing various sets of skills to education or even people belonging to all walks of life- equality. And through this, we hope to reach the ground level and educate everyone with no discrimination.

We want to establish a culture of entrepreneurship – what youngsters really need right now, is to embrace their skills and be able to grow with that trait rather than grow around it. It creates a provision for actual development by giving assistance in the form of mentoring and training residential.

Privacy Policy

The Skillship Summit is dedicated to providing a harassment-free space for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, race, or religion.

We do not tolerate harassment in any form from online & Offline attendees. Sexual language and inappropriate imagery are not appropriate for submitted projects or at any time or place during the event, including talks, online, and offline sessions, and online media. Attendees violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without reimbursement of their Event Registration Amount, Any events that violate the Skillship Summit Privacy Policy should be reported as specified in the procedures at the end of the document.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to: offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, race, or religion; sexual or graphic images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation; photography or video recording someone without their consent; sustained disruption of talks or other events;

Attendees exhibiting any of these harmful behaviours will be asked to stop immediately. Sponsors, mentors and organizers are also expected to follow the anti-harassment policy.

In addition, hacks or projects submitted by teams that violate this code may be disqualified or denied the right to demo at the discretion of the event organizers. If an attendee engages in harmful behaviour, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the perpetrator or expelling them from the event with no reimbursement.

Be respectful to each other

Treat everyone with respect. Participate while acknowledging that everyone deserves to be here — and each of us has the right to enjoy our experience without fear of harassment, discrimination, or condescension, whether blatant or via micro-aggressions. All forms of communication should not demean others. Consider what you are saying and how it would feel if it were said to you or about you.

Speak up if you see or hear something

Harassment is not tolerated, and you are empowered to politely engage when you or others are disrespected. The person making you feel uncomfortable may not be aware of what they are doing, and politely bringing their behaviour to their attention is encouraged.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Our zero-tolerance policy means that we will look into and review every allegation of violation of our Event Community Guidelines and Anti-Harassment Policy and respond appropriately. To report any behaviour that makes you or others feel uncomfortable, visit your event's website to file a report to your event's organizers.

This policy extends to talks, forums, workshops, codelabs, social media, all attendees, partners, sponsors, volunteers, staff, etc. You catch our drift. Skillship reserves the right to refuse admittance to or remove any person from, any Skillship-hosted event (including future Skillship events) at any time at its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, attendees behaving in a disorderly manner or failing to comply with this policy, and the terms and conditions herein. If a participant engages in harassing or uncomfortable behaviour, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning or expelling the offender from the conference with no refund or blocking the offender’s account from participating online.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please follow the reporting procedures at the bottom of this document and report the incident immediately. Skillship Summit staff will be clearly identified and the Co-Directors can be reached at all times via the phone numbers below.
